The UseMyBank account begins the service by linking a checking account with the UseMyBank account. Funding Your UseMyBank Account

The only way you can actually fund a UseMyBank account is by using your checking account to transfer funds into their service. You will move money from a bank account directly into your UseMyBank account, which serves as the basis for the name. You cannot actually make payments with credit or debit cards, nor wire transfers or the like.

UseMyBank Fees

We have found that, like any other service, they do have some fees associated with UseMyBank. The fees, more often then not, come from your bank rather than the UseMyBank service. Banks may charge a small fee for processing the electronic funds transfer processed by UseMyBank. You will periodically see a $1 surcharge for using the PAD service, and there is also a 2.5% fee for a PIN debit transaction. Contact your bank if you fear that they may hit you with any further charges.

Signing Up For UseMyBank

The sign up process through UseMyBank is very simple. You will have to give them the requisite information that most online services will request. Your name, address, phone number, e-mail, and date of birth must all be entered. Once you validate your e-mail, your account will be ready to go.
